All our work is carried out by production trained staff using original drawings, special jigs, tools
with the latest and best Factory parts.
As from 1st December 2008 fixed basic service charges will apply to all pre 1993 Classic Bristols.
The fixed labour cost (3 hours) for a standard 5,000 mile service will now be just £197 + VAT for both 6 cylinder and V-8 models. The service includes: initial road test, general safety check on ramp, check operation of equipment and accessories, check fluid levels including axle etc, change oil and oil filter and attend to grease points, advise owner on any items requiring attention, final road test. The fixed labour cost for the 10,000 mile service (10 hours) is just £395 + VAT. It will include an initial road test, general safety check on ramp and check of all fluid levels. Change of engine oil and filter, fuel filters, air filter, and spark plugs. Carry out steering check including all flexible and sliding joints, steering box adjustment, idler boxes and ball joints. Check suspension geometry, bushings and pivots. Check all grease and oiling points, tappet adjustments, mixture analysis, axle half shaft end float, operation of all equipment and accessories, lubricate exterior hinges, full corrosion check, advise owner on any items requiring attention. We can collect and redeliver your Bristol for all work at your convenience charging only for fuel cost and £25 per hour driven.
We can now offer the option for those living in the West to take their cars for service to the Bristol Factory itself. Please note that, regrettably, a tour of the factory itself is not possible as the new car design, development and military contracts areas are all open plan and part of the general production areas. One day we hope to have premises that will allow customers to see the coachbuilt quality of Bristols during construction and renovation.
