SERVICING COSTS

As from 1st December 2008 fixed basic service charges will apply to all pre 1993 Classic Bristols.

The fixed labour cost (3 hours) for a standard 5,000 mile service will now be just £197 + VAT for both 6 cylinder and V-8 models. The service includes: initial road test, general safety check on ramp, check operation of equipment and accessories, check fluid levels including axle etc, change oil and oil filter and attend to grease points, advise owner on any items requiring attention, final road test. (Parts extra).

The fixed labour cost for the 10,000 mile service (10 hours) is just £395 + VAT. It will include an initial road test, general safety check on ramp and check of all fluid levels. Change of engine oil and filter, fuel filters, air filter, and spark plugs. Carry out steering check including all flexible and sliding joints, steering box adjustment, idler boxes and ball joints. Check suspension geometry, bushings and pivots. Check all grease and oiling points, tappet adjustments, mixture analysis, axle half shaft end float, operation of all equipment and accessories, lubricate exterior hinges, full corrosion check, advise owner on any items requiring attention. Final road test. (Parts extra).

NATIONWIDE COLLECTION/DELIVERY SERVICE

We can collect and redeliver your Bristol for all work at your convenience charging only for fuel cost and £25 per hour driven.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE FACILITIES

We can now offer the option for those living in the West to take their cars for service to the Bristol Factory itself. Please note that, regrettably, a tour of the factory itself is not possible as the new car design, development and military contracts areas are all open plan and part of the general production areas. One day we hope to have premises that will allow customers to see the coachbuilt quality of Bristols during construction and renovation. FACTORY UPGRADES

  • Upgrades to make your Classic BRISTOL more enjoyable, including suspension, brakes, wheel tyres and turbo upgrades can now be carried out at the Service Department. Please contact Kensington Head Office initially with your requirements and note the chassis number and model so that the correct technician may respond.

PARTS SUPPLY

  • The Service Department is currently supplying 97% of parts ordered by customers within 48 hours from stock. No matter the age of your vehicle, we probably have the parts you need.

  • All our work is under the supervision of long term management, with access to original drawings, jigs and tools, backed by genuine Bristol spares. Factory modifications have been rigorously developed and tested to the standards of our new cars.
