New Service Facilities
2010 has seen dramatic enhancements to the Bristol servicing facilities. In February the Service Department moved from the old facility in Chiswick into a smart, modern building a little further along the A4 at Brentford. With the company's recent expansion the old premises had simply become too small for our requirements. The new service department offers 50% more space with extensive parking outside, four ramps, a reception area and dedicated space for parts and equipment. A much wider variety of less congested test routes are available from this location and the response from customers has been thoroughly enthusiastic.

Thanks to our popular fixed price service policy and our ability to do complicated jobs quickly and efficiently using factory-trained technicians, test equipment and jigs, we are busier than ever with between twenty and thirty cars on site for work at any one time. For a modest charge we can collect and deliver a car from anywhere in the country or indeed from mainland Europe. As always our massive inventory of parts allows jobs to be tackled without delay so that your deadline can be met. By availing yourself of the manufacturer's expertise, servicing costs are minimised and cars will last longer and drive as the maker intended. Best of all, the value of your classic Bristol will be enhanced with a manufacturer service history. We can also now offer the option for those living in the West to take their cars for service to the Bristol Factory itself. Please note that, regrettably, a tour of the factory itself is not possible as the new car design, development and military contracts areas are all open plan and part of the general production areas. One day we hope to have premises that will allow customers to see the coachbuilt quality of Bristols during construction and renovation. Servicing Costs
Fixed basic service charges apply to all Bristol cars. The fixed labour cost (3 hours) for a standard 5,000 mile service is just £197 + VAT for both 6 cylinder and V-8 models. The service includes: initial road test, general safety check on ramp, check operation of equipment and accessories, check fluid levels including axle etc, change oil and oil filter and attend to grease points, advise owner on any items requiring attention, final road test (parts extra).

The fixed labour cost for the 10,000 mile service (10 hours) is just £395 + VAT. It will include an initial road test, general safety check on ramp and check of all fluid levels. Change of engine oil and filter, fuel filters, air filter, and spark plugs. Carry out steering check including all flexible and sliding joints, steering box adjustment, idler boxes and ball joints. Check suspension geometry, bushings and pivots. Check all grease and oiling points, tappet adjustments, mixture analysis, axle half shaft end float, operation of all equipment and accessories, lubricate exterior hinges, full corrosion check, advise owner on any items requiring attention.
